we noticed that molly and ruby were becoming city girls.
they were spending too much time inside our apartment. their playground at school is cement. sure there's a sandbox in the neighborhood park, but it's the size of a postage stamp. we heard them calling the hedge along the perimeter of this small square park was a forest. plus their fingernails were too clean. so we gave in to the inevitable and bought a house in the country with all its charming headaches and renovation anecdotes (peter mayle move over). oh and if you're really curious about this renovation project of ours, check out these pictures of the country house and the work in process. (and it's going to be in process for a long time, we think.) what's important is that molly and ruby love going to the country house, and here you'll see why: |
